The three main mobile network operators are Maroc Telecom, Orange, and Inwi. Historically, the development of Morocco's mobile network began with the establishment of the first mobile network in the 1990s. The government has implemented various strategies to enhance broadband accessibility, including the National Broadband Plan and the Maroc Digital 2020 strategy. Currently, the three main operators are preparing to deploy 5G networks, with the National Telecommunications Regulatory Agency (ANRT) conducting international studies to determine the best implementation standards.
